This was one of those interviews he did after MS and before NYC. This one’s kinda long, so I’ll translate it into parts…
JIW’s A to Z. For now, here’s A to L.
Actor?
A person who is able to do different types of work, and depending on the character, an actor is a person who is able to show happiness, sadness, joy and sorrow.
Beauty Ideal?
It changes everytime, at the moment, I have no ideal type.
Cell phone—who is number one on your cell phone?
I have an iphone so I don’t have that function.
Destiny—do you believe in it?
I don’t. I believe in hard work rather than destiny.
Energy- where do you find energy for your work?
From myself. I have a battle with myself, I think growth happens with failure and success. And of course, from the love of all my fans.
Friend—your most important friend？
My friend from middle school. We have been close since we were young, so I feel that I can talk to the most with an open heart. I was close with friends in high school too, but have not met since graduation.
Goal—- your goal in life?
To act to a level where I am satisfied with the quality of my acting
Hobby?
It changes depending on the time.
If…you had not become an actor…?
Probably, I would have gone into a fashion-related career. I’m interested in it, and I want to learn more about it.
Join—having join the cast (MS) a bit late?
I received the offer while doing FBRS. Actually, when it was decided that I will be in MS, a lot of people voiced out their concerns about it. They were wondering whether I would be able to do it well or not. In the end, the decision was mine to make. I found the source material very interesting to read. I decided on joining since I did not want to regret not doing it.
K-pop —favorite Kpop star and song?
Big Bang. I like BB’s style in terms of songs. It doesn’t have that trendy sound, so it is good to listen at anytime. I even remember the lyrics. Their old songs are great, but lately I’ve been listening to “blue”.
Love is…?
Some times, it gives you happiness, sometimes it is something that is painful.

Kim Soo Hyun′s ′The One and Only You′ Ranks No. 2
Kim Soo Hyun, better known as ′Hwonie′ these days, is now making waves on music charts, thanks to the overwhelming popularity of The Sun and the Moon.Kim′s The One and Only You (translated title), which will be included in the The Sun and the Moon OST, was released online on March 13 and, in a single day, managed to reach the second and third spot in the Melon and Mnet music charts respectively, coming in just behind 2AM’s new song, You’re Just Like Me.The fact that Kim is an actor, and not a singer, made it even more impressive and was a testament to the widespread popularity of the drama and of the ′Hwonie syndrome′.
After Kim finished shooting for the The Sun and the Moon on the 8th, he jumped right into his OST song preparation and several advertisement shoots for three intensive days. Starting from the morning of March 9 and continuing onto the evening hours the following day, Kim was busy shooting for his CF commercials and recording his song for The Sun and the Moon OST.A rep from Kim Soo Hyun′s agency Key East said, “Kim listened to the recording of the song in his spare time and immersed himself in The One and Only You. [The recording] was easier than expected due to his past experience inDream High, where he played the role of Sam Dong.”
